Breitling Replica Watches: Spills and Thrills in St. Gallen

Gretz Communications approached me to ask if I would like to test watches in St. Gallen. I was politely turned down. Although I enjoy walking in the Swiss countryside, it doesn't make for a good watch review story. That was it, at least that's what I thought.

It was then that word spread to the St. Gallen tourism board that my city wasn't exciting enough. Before I knew it I had signed up for parachuting, acrobatic paragliding and other activities. What was I doing?

There was no turning back. I had asked for adventure, and I was going get it.Breitling Replica Watches I suggested that you do only one activity -- paragliding acrobatics, if at all possible. You mean I need to be able test the watch simultaneously?

The Breitling Replica Watches Rega GMT was my only watch that I could take on this adventure. It was a special-edition watch created in collaboration by the Swiss air rescue services. I thought it would be helpful to have their watch in case I get into trouble. It's also one of most legible pilots' timepieces available, which I thought might be a nice distraction when I throw myself off the edge a mountain!

The City to Explore

We check in at the Hotel Einstein upon arrival in St. Gallen.Breitling Replica Watches This charming hotel has its own swimming pool and spa. The changing architecture that you see as you travel from one side of Switzerland to the other is what I love most about Switzerland. St. Gallen, with its oriel windows, medieval half-timbered homes and a harmonious blend of contemporary creations like those by Santiago Calatrava (Spanish/Swiss architect) and Friedensreich Hundertwasser (Autumn/New Zealand architect).

Gallus Strasse in St. Gallen

Schlossli is a restaurant that serves gastronomic cuisine in a medieval castle. We enjoy the delicious wines and local cuisine. A purple soup made from an ancient potato variety called Blue St. Gall is stunning to see and even more so to taste. The house also offers beef carpaccio, rocket salad, alpine cheese, and local smoked trout that's cold with a fennel and orange tartare. I would be happy if this were my last meal.
